Inzaghi Stay Positive although Milan Back Loyo
Verona – AC Milan return rate faltered after a goalless offset Chievo. However, Filippo Inzaghi still see the positive side of his team.
A visit to the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi, Sunday (01/03/2015) pm dawn, Milan brings the mission to show consistency. After the victory over Cesena in the previous week, the Rossoneri are determined to return reap the full points against Chievo.
However, Milan was able to win over the host. Although appearing dominant, Milan failed to score and had to settle for a point after a 0-0 draw.
“I think we tried to play and certainly better in the second half, creating opportunities with Honda that hit the crossbar and counterattack three against two,” said Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia as quoted by Football Italia.
“We have to be sharp in attack, making appropriate final operand and maximize opportunities, because it is not easy against Chievo who survived the entire team.”
Throughout the game, possession Milan reached 60%. Jeremy Menez et al. recorded release 11 attempts to score goals, but only two that leads to the goal. One kick from Keisuke Honda hit the crossbar.
With a draw at home to Chievo, Milan recorded never win in away games since mid-October. Until this time, Milan was never able to assemble more than two victories in Serie A this season.
However, Inzaghi keep thinking positive. Milan called show progress though on the other hand regretted the failure to score goals.
“I see the glass as ‘half full’, because this is the second clean sheet in a row, but once again we lost two important players due to injury and wasting scoring opportunities,” lajut Inzaghi.
“I’m sure we’ve increased in control of the ball in the last two games, but we did not score, that’s regret today,” he said.
