Problem her new contract, Kolo Toure Will think about it
Liverpool – Kolo Toure contract with Liverpool actually runs this season. However Toure will think about it to extend their stay at the Merseyside club.
Since imported on a free transfer last season, Kolo is not always a top choice Brendan Rodgers at the back. This season’s Ivorian defender must be a cover for a trio of Martin Skrtel, Emre Can, and Mamadou Sakho.
This season Toure has appeared 18 times in all competitions with 1,262 minutes of playing time. Meanwhile, the last season he played 24 times in all competitions.
With the remaining contract months away, obviously now is the right time for Toure negotiate about the extension of the residence.
Recognized by 33-year-old defender, it is going to do in the near future though Toure admitted will be considered these things before signing a new contract period.
“We are still in the discussion stage, the agent I have spoken to the club,” said Toure on Soccerway.
“We see in the next few days. The club and myself have to think first,” he continued.
“I have to think carefully and then make the right decision. It’s important to know what you will encounter.”
“Are you going to be part of a team or just complement it. I have to do the right thing for me and the family,” said he.
